About Elmwood Dental & Facial Aesthetics
At Elmwood Dental we strive to provide the best possible experience for our patients. This is
achieved by having a superb team in place.
We are here to help you in all aspects of your dental
needs, from the very first phone call to schedule your appointment right through to creating your
perfect smile.
We are based in Grange, Douglas. However, many of our patients travel to us from the wider Cork
area, especially the neighbouring suburbs of Blackrock, Bishopstown, Carrigaline and of course the
City Centre. Not to mention our international following who pop in to Elmwood Dental for their
annual anti-wrinkle injections or dermal filler treatment when visiting from Australia, Dubai and America.
Elmwood Dental is a boutique Cork practice. Our outstanding team provides a bespoke service with
the personal touch to the Douglas area and far beyond!

Dr David graduated with a bachelor's degree in Dentistry from UCC in 2011. After spending five years working in general practice in Manchester and another five years in Galway,
he is delighted to once again be home in Cork.
It was while working in Galway that he attended many endodontic courses for and
developed a real passion for "root canal treatment". This is needed for your
tooth when the nerve becomes very inflamed or infected and the only other
option at this point is extraction. He is an advocate for minimally
invasive dentistry and being as conservative as possible in his treatment.
David also has special interests
in treating nervous patients and in cosmetic dentistry. Outside of dentistry, he loves the outdoors and anything sports related, especially triathalons.
