Crowns are used to build up broken down teeth and also teeth with huge fillings. They provide support and strength, as well as a massive improvement in the appearance of the tooth. Fitting a crown usually involves at least two visits to prepare the tooth and finally to fit the crown. They come in a variety of materials, with each case being individually assessed.
